In our beginer sewing class you will be introduced to the basics of sewing, you will gain practical sewing skills and be able to show off your creativity. Through engaging projects, you will gain hands-on experience in sewing while creating functional and fun items.

Course Overview

The course will cover fundamental sewing techniques, including:

• Introduction to Sewing Machines: Understanding the parts and functions of a sewing machine.

• Fabric:  Learning about fabrics and their use

• Basic Stitching Techniques

• Pattern Reading: Following simple sewing patterns.

• Creating different usable items.

Projects:

The class will include the making several projects to reinforce  what you have learned

​

You will learn:

• Measuring, cutting, and stitching to create personalized and decorative pillows.

• Design and sew custom pillowcases.

• Construct stylish and functional tote bags and purses

• Explore other projects such as small accessories, simple clothing items, and home decor.

• You will develop practical sewing skills that can be used in other parts of their lives.

Sewing is not just a creative outlet but also a valuable life skill that promotes patience, attention to detail, and   

      problem-  solving.

Each session last 60-90 minutes.

​

A list of required materials will be provided. However, other material will be needed for certain projects.

​
